Previously the provision of 13C-urea breath tests for the detection of Helicobacter pylori was a locally commissioned service provided by community pharmacy contractors only within East Surrey. It was agreed at the Medicines Optimisation Board on 19 October 2022 that the service should be extended and offered across all of Surrey Heartlands. The communication below outlines the service and the community pharmacies offering this service.
